After breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura visit the ancient city. . You will visit the Sri Maha Bodhi (the oldest tree in the world with a written history and it is a sapling from the original tree under which Buddha got enlighted), the Brazen Palace, the Ruwanveli Seya Dagoba (biggest dagoba in Sri Lanka), the Thuparama Dagoba (oldest dagoba), the Lankarama Dagoba, the Elephant Pond, the Abhayagiriya Monastery Complex, the world famous Samadhi Buddha Statue and the Isurumuniya Temple.

You will proceed to Sigiriya.Enroute get a Elephant back safari on Habarana , you may get a village tour in interested. There are optional activities such as Ayurveda, boat ride on a lake, to get a traditional Sri Lankan village lunch, relaxing on a lakeside , etc.

After breakfast proceed to Trincomalee.Trincomalee is a port city in on the southern coast of Sri Lanka about 113 miles south of Jaffna. Trincomalee is one of the main centers of Tamil speaking cultur region the island. The Nilaweli beach nearby is one of the best in Asia. You may go to the Pigeons Island by a boat or just have a boat ride around the lagoon.The beaches are used for surfing,scuba diving,snorkeling and whale watching. The city also has the largest Dutch Fort in Sri Lanka.
Visit “ Konneshwaram Kovil” – Hindu temple located on a hill top which is having a 360 degree view of Trincomalee.

Leave Trincomalee after breakfast and proceed to ancient city of Polonaruwa.Sightseeing of the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (10th-12th century A.D). You will visit the modern museum, the Parakrama Samudra (gigantic reservoir made by king Parakrama the Great), Statue of King Parakrama, the Library Shrine, Palace of King Parakrama, the Kumara Pokuna (pond used by royal family with the water flowing system), the Shiva temple, the Thuparama shrine room with its glittering statues, the Alahana Monastery Complex, the Gal Vihare (a master peace of stone carving), the Lotus Pond and a traditional wood carving factory. After your afternoon tea you will proceed to Dambulla.Visit the Golden Temple which is a cave temple of Kings Era with lots of paintings and statues. It is on a rock with a panoramic view.

1. Visit Horton Planes. Horton Plains is an undulating 2000m high plateau 28km south of Nuwara Eliya. The grassy plains, which are interspersed with small patches of forest, are home to leopards, sambur, deer, bear, monkeys and a rich array of birds, including some endemic species. The most dramatic feature of the National Park is `World’s End’ where the plateau comes to an abrupt end and drops nearly 1000m vertically. You have to go by foot from the entrance of Horton Planes National park. Witness the Bakers Falls – a waterfall on the way.
